I wrote this book because of the lousy advice I heard given to my kids by job counselors. The worse advise I hear seems to be from career advisors. Its like they have a book they all read that was written in the 1980s - and they parrot the information to the masses with a mention or two about the "Inter-Web." (I actually heard a career counselor call it that.)
Frankly, their advice wasn't all that good even in the 1980s.
